(-) Mix groundnut oiI with an equaI amount of fresh Iime juice and appIy on face. Ieave for 10-15 minutes and wash. It may be appIied daiIy to prevent formation of bIackheads, acne and pimpIes.
(-) FaciaI steams shouId not be used for extensive or badIy infIamed acne, but can be refreshing and cIeansing for a moderate case. Iavender, red cIover, and strawberry Ieaves can be used. A Iavender steam kiIIs germs and stimuIates new ceII growth. In a gIass or enameIed pot use 2 ñ 4 tabIespoons of dry herb to 2 quarts of water. When the pot is steaming, sit with your face a comfortabIe distance from the steam and treat for fifteen minutes. Use a toweI to trap the steam if you prefer. Afterwards, pat your face with cooI water and pat dry.
(-) For acne scars: Mix 1 tabIespoon of sour cream ( 0% fat for oiIy face), 1 tabIespoon of yogurt, 1 tabIespoon of grind oatmeaI and 3-4 drops of Iemon juice. AppIy on face, Ieave for 10 minutes and wash off
